About
I am a Holistic Therapist and Meditation Guide. Drawn to the academic and the mystical, my studies have followed these twin threads to culminate in the creation of this holistic healing practice.
Introduced to mind-body medicine and the healing arts by my mother at 16, I delved into the work of teachers like Louise L. Hay. I was the kid always lurking in the esoteric section of the bookshop, reading up on witches, crystals and mythology.
In 1994 I became a student of yoga and meditation. In 2008 I met Yogi Charu & took up classical Hatha yoga, tantric meditation and the study of Vedic scripture in the guru-shishya (teacher/disciple) tradition. I became a certified teacher in 2009 and taught group and private classes in Sydney.
I hold a BA(Media & Communications) from University of New South Wales and worked as a brand and communications consultant. Drawn to design, architecture and beauty, I pursued studies in Interior Design and later founded the creative design studio Band of Thieves. Clients included Nikon and Red Bull.
Time spent working in these roles honed my ability to be present, listen deeply and make decisions intuitively. I love working with subtle energies - the energy of a space, a concept or a person. I delight in fostering transformation, be it an external space or inner life.
Whilst studying for my Masters in Holistic Counselling & Psychotherapy, I became captivated by the work of the inimitable Martha Beck. After completing a short course I made the decision to follow my heart and transfer into Martha’s Wayfinder Life Coach Training program (ICF Accredited). Martha continues to be a treasured mentor and source of inspiration.
As a seeker and traveller I’ve made many a pilgrimage to sacred sites, to sit in ceremony and to learn from teachers such as Adyashanti, Eckhart Tolle, Elizabeth Gilbert, Sandra Ingerman and Jane Hardwicke Collings.
